Cookie Dough Campaign Correction

There was an error in the blog post pertaining to the Cookie Dough Campaign.  The post read "no late orders will be accepted after January 14th" but should have said "no late orders accepted after February 14th".   Sorry for any confusion.

Invitation to Island-wide Meeting on Feb 2

“An Island-wide VISION for Education” will be the theme at our School Review Public Meeting in Kinkora at Kinkora Regional High School on Thursday, February 2, 2017,  7:00 p.m.

Parents, Children, Teachers, Community Members, and Members of all Home and School Associations across the Island are invited to attend. Babysitting services will be available on-site. 

Bus service will be available for those coming from the west. Pick-up at St. Louis Elementary at 5:00 pm and Bloomfield Elementary at 5:20 p.m. $10/seat for each adult and students are free. Additional costs for this bus covered by Duffy Construction Ltd. Please call Chris McKenna at 902-439-8762 to book your seat in advance.

Musical entertainment from 6:30-7:00 provided by Allan Sonier, and guest speakers for the evening include well-known Dr. Peter Bevan-Baker, Dr. David Weale and Dr. Gerry Hopkirk who will speak on topics related to the integral value of small schools and a vision for education on PEI. 

Hope to see representatives from all Home and School Associations from across our Island, We are STRONGER together.

Beginning January 30 West Royalty will be teaming up with QSP and Save the Children to sell cookie dough to raise funds for our school, as well as "Chicks for Children" in third world countries.

For every 4 tubs of cookie dough you sell QSP will donate a chick in your child's name. Orders may be made by paper forms or online using our school code

Funds raised will focus on enriching classroom literacy as well as to aid teachers in purchasing needed supplies throughout the remainder of the year. 

All the information will be sent home with your children on Monday January 30th.  If you have questions all contact information is provided in the parent letter found inside the package. Late orders will not be be accepted after February 14th.
