Help My Child Website Launch
The Help My Child website was launched on December 2nd by the Prince Edward Island Home and School Federation. The website offers a PEI-based resource for parents, students and the community that focuses on the total health and well-being of children and youth. The site assists anyone wanting to connect individuals in need of help with the right person, professional or other type of resource.
Areas of help are included under categories such as: Bullying, Cyberbullying, Educational Supports, Mental Health, Physical Health, Substance Abuse, Violence and Abuse. A wide range of assistance is provided from help with substance abuse to study and homework help.
A Not sure where to look? section is a helpful feature. Questions can be submitted through the website and redirected to find the right person or resource, to help the person asking the question find a solution.
This project is sponsored by the TELUS Community Boards Fund and coordinated by the Prince Edward Island Home and School Federation. You can find Help My Child at: www.helpmychild.ca
